2 CRO clients and 2 Sponsor clients headline this month’s “High Impact Hires” section as we kick off 2019 with a full head of steam!
Highlights for the month of January include:
- A Metro Washington DC-based CRO engaged our firm for assistance in finding a permanent/FTE Senior CRA. The ideal candidate needed both drug and device experience, and the candidate’s location needed to make sense as the sites were heavily -concentrated in the Southeastern US. Gemini secured an Orlando, FL-based Sr. CRA who has held CRA roles since 2008.
- A Metro Boston-based Immuno-oncology sponsor client needed assistance in securing a consultant to aid in building out the beginnings of a QA GCP function. Gemini tapped one of it’s best and longest-tenured consultants who was deployed to aid in inspection readiness, the planning and carrying-out of audits, setting up compliance programs and training, among other tasks.
- A Cambridge-based sponsor, also in the field of cancer immunotherapy, reached out to Gemini at the beginning of the holiday season to ask for help in recruiting for 2 permanent/FTE positions: A Clinical Trial Administrator and a Sr. Clinical Project Manager, which are 2 of the most sought-after and in-demand profiles in the industry. The timing of the opening was challenging as well, given the holidays. Gemini Staffing secured both local hires for late January 2019 start-dates.
- A Metro Los Angeles-based CRO came to us for help in securing a permanent/FTE Clinical Project Manager. The supply/demand conditions for such skill sets/backgrounds in Southern California and the Bay area are similar to that of Cambridge: demand oustripping supply by a mile! The client needed a very seasoned (7-10 years experience) candidate who also had equal CRO and sponsor-side experience. Gemini Staffing’s candidate, who resides in San Diego County, begins in the first week of February!
